En 2013, le FC Barcelone a déboursé 57 millions d’euros pour s’offrir Neymar. Si depuis cette somme a largement augmenté suite aux révélations judiciaires, le Real Madrid était lui aussi prêt à miser gros sur le Brésilien. Il y a quelques mois, le père du joueur avait révélé une offre de 150 millions d’euros pour le joueur alors encore à Santos. Mais le club espagnol a également déployé d’autres moyens.
