And plays Kergyosh (19 years old and ranked 144 worldwide) in the Round of 8 with Canadian Milos Raonic, who beat eighth to tenth Japanese Kei Nishikori 4-6, 6-1, 7-6 (7-4), 6-3.
The failure lasts Nadal at Wimbledon for the third year in a row after that came out too early in the previous two versions.
Nadal comes out of the fourth round after nearly two weeks of being crowned Roland Garros French for the ninth time, his tally to 14 titles in Grand Slam, a difference of three titles behind Roger Federer record holder.
And qualified Roger Federer to Fourth Round of 8 by beating Spaniard Tommy Robredo 6-1, 6-4, 6-4 on Tuesday.
The revenge of the rival Federer after losing in front of him in the previous confrontation that brought them together in the final price in Flushing Meadows U.S. Championships last summer.
Federer hit a date in the last eight with a third compatriot Stanislas Wawrinka, who beat Spaniard Feliciano Lopez 7-6 (7-5), 7-6 (9-7), 6-3.
