Italy opponents resist Costa Rica surprised after Uruguay in the opening match of Group D.
Daniele De Rossi said they were happy that Costa Rica had won because he was well prepared for his showdown Italy.
"It was better for us to beat Costa Rica Uruguay otherwise we would risky to underestimate. Now we do not," he said.
"We have to worry about right. Already no weak teams in the tournament, as many players playing in Europe and are competitive.
"Costa Rica has shown that they are a good team and have exciting players.
"But to win on Friday, we could ensure qualification for the next round."
Rossi was not happy playing in the hot weather, but Italy has changed its style accordingly.
He continued, "Prandelli created our style of play, adapting it to our own specifications.
"It is very hot, but the way we play means it does not affect us as much as other equipment for the conditions.
"I see the national teams at half-time, they are two miles an hour.
"In Recife 1:00 p.m. heat will be the same for us and for Costa Rica.
"However, the heat will be a problem for us because our opponents are used to the tropical climate.
"However, we all wait time benefit."
