He appears to have left his fitness problems firmly in the past and is back in tip-top condition. He spent 18 days on the sidelines to recover from the injuries that had been plaguing him. There had been some concern at the club and amongst its doctors whether he had rested long enough to make a successful comeback. Right now everything appears to be going according to plan.
CR7 has not missed a minute since making his comeback against Atlético. He is also getting back to his best. He has played every minute and Ancelotti has said he will not rest him because he does not need to.
Ancelotti will rotate some of his players against Elche, but Cristiano will not be among them. He is at full fitness and does not like being rested. He needs to compete and every game is important to him. Ancelotti and Real Madrid are both thrilled to have their star player back in tip-top condition, after being off his game for so long.
Ronaldo's stats are back to what they were. He has scored five goals in three games since making his comeback and those are the kind of stats he is used to. His hat-trick at Riazor was proof that Cristiano is back to his best. Goals were just the tonic he needed after such a lengthy lay-off. The new and improved CR7 is here, better than ever.
